Adult Piano Lessons
When looking for an Orlando piano teacher, many adult piano students’ goal is to sit at the piano and play their favorite songs. My lessons teach classical piano, contemporary styles, easy listening, new age piano, gospel, and more. Accelerated learning for the adult student includes music notation, music terms, music theory, chord progressions and chord voicing.

Student Piano Lessons
In-person private lessons from a piano teacher is believed to be the most effective method for learning. Our student lessons are available for students 8 years and older. This curriculum is geared to those who have little or no musical training. Music notation, timing, reading and writing are taught. Music theory including key signatures, chords, and chord progressions are covered in a fun and customized way. The student will build finger dexterity while playing different styles of music, some of their own choosing.

My Story
My piano journey began at the age of 6 in Salt Lake City. I was classically trained with private lessons from professors from the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. As a teen I accompanied my high school choir and singing groups in competition.
Moving to Orlando, Florida after college graduation gave me the opportunity to perform as a soloist at many venues for wedding and corporate dinner parties and receptions.
Now I take pleasure in teaching piano to students of all ages. My goal is for my students to gain a love of music that they can share with family, friends, and with themselves.
Learning the piano is fun, challenging and rewarding. I recommend it to everyone.

All lessons are taught in my home music studio located in the Wekiva Springs area of Apopka, Florida.
Cost
SCHEDULED WEEKLY
$30 – Thirty minute Private Session
$40 – Forty Minute Private Session
$60 – One Hour Private Session
$60 – One Hour Two-Student Session. Both students participating.
*The student will purchase all music, workbooks, and supplies. The student should have a full-keyboard, electric or acoustic piano for practicing and best results.

Download and print the PDF file for the key signature you want to learn.
While at the piano play the scale with both hands separately and also together.
The exercises are meant to help you learn the five tones of each root note in the scale and also familiarize yourself with the triad chord for the same root.
Pay attention to the sharps and flats that are in each key signature and play them sharped and flatted in the exercises.
